About Hilliard Optimist Field Hockey  The Hilliard Optimist Club
offers Field Hockey for girls in grades 7 - 12. Games are played in the
Fall at various school sites throughout Central Ohio - including
Worthington, Dublin, Columbus School for Girls, etc. The goal for 2008
is to have two separate teams for Hilliard - both at the Middle School

Calling all future 7th - 12th grade girls interested in trying an exciting, fun, and team-oriented sport! This Fall will be your opportunity to try field hockey! It's a great way to increase strength, agility, endurance and confidence. Of course, having fun is also a huge part of the sport and we wouldn't miss out on that! The Hilliard Optimist Field Hockey team offers an opportunity for you to learn the basics and play games against other Central Ohio middle school and high school JV teams. It all starts here! Inaugural Season In 2006 the Hilliard Optimist Club held its inaugural season for girl's Field Hockey in Hilliard. The JV team played school teams throughout Central Ohio in the Fall of 2006 and also competed at Sports Ohio for Indoor Field Hockey during the winter.
